- חִדְקָא, חִידְ׳I ch. sam( חֶדֶק (b. h.), הֶדֶק m. (preced.) thorn), 1) thorn. Targ. Mic. 7:4.Pl. חִדְקַיָּא, חִי׳. Y.Taan.II, 65b top (ref. to Mic. l. c., v. preced.). 2) חִידְקֵי parts or limbs of a candlestick fastened in their places, opp. חוליות movable limbs. Sabb.46a ed. a. Ms. M. (Ar. חרקי).
